Come and visit our nursing or teacher training programme in Aabenraa, where students will now be able to study in German in their first year, or check out our international teacher training programme in Haderslev, where teachers are already being trained in English during their first year of study. This will give you a taste for what it is like to study at UC SYD.

We will match you with a student who speaks your language.

Not sure which programme to choose? 
You will have the opportunity to take part in a day of teaching on one of our programmes, allowing you to get a better sense of what it is like to be a student at UC SYD. 
Student for the Day is an offer for anyone who has completed or is about to complete a qualifying exam in the EU and is considering higher education in Denmark. Perhaps you are in upper secondary education, on a gap year or thinking about changing the direction of your education.

How to become a student for the day
You can become a student for the day by sending us an email to for1dag@ucsyd.dk. In your email, please state which programme and which campus you would like to try out. We will then contact you as soon as possible to find a day when you can shadow a student on the programme you want to experience.
We will do our best to make sure you can make your visit as soon as possible. But there will be periods on the different programmes when students have exams or internships. During these periods, becoming a student for the day will not be possible.

What you can expect
Over the course of the day, you'll shadow a student on a normal teaching day, and you’ll have the opportunity to see around the campus and experience the study environment. 
Students and teachers will be available to chat throughout the day, giving you an opportunity to ask all the questions you would like to have answered.
